Tónlist hennar hefur fengiđ mjög jákvćđa umfjöllun í frönskum, ţýskum, austurrískum og bandarískum tímaritum ţar sem hún er sögđ fella saman ţokka evrópsks djass og eldmóđ hins bandaríska međ tónsmíđum sem höfđa til fleiri en djassunnenda eingöngu. Hún hefur gefiđ út fjóra geisladiska međ eigin tónsmíđum og náđi sá síđasti Live in Europe inn á „topp 10" lista á útvarpsstöđvum í Bandaríkjunum áriđ 2003 og öđru sćti í Kanada. Sunna hefur stjórnađ ţáttasyrpunni Djass Gallery New York á Rás 1 frá árinu 1998. Hún hefur ţrisvar sinnum hlotiđ starfslaun listamanna.
Scott McLemore trommuleikari er fćddur í Virginíu í Bandaríkjunum og útskrifađist 1997 međ B.M. gráđu í jazztrommuleik frá William Paterson College í New Jersey. Hann bjó nćr áratug í New York ţar sem hann lék međal annars međ Sunnu Gunnlaugs, Ben Monder, Michael Kanan, Tony Malaby, Angelica Sanchez, Chris Cheek, George Colligan, Kerry Politzer, Mark Helias og Tim Berne. Scott er nú búsettur á Íslandi og hefur undanfariđ leikiđ međal annars međ kvartett Kristjönu Stefánsdóttur, Gömmum, Elísabetu Eyţórsdóttur og kvartett Andrésar Ţórs Gunnlaugssonar. Morgunblađiđ sagđi í gagnrýni 4. febrúar síđast liđinn „Ţađ er mikill fengur ađ Scott McLemore hér - hann er hrikalega góđur trommari". Fyrir skömmu kom út hjá Fresh Sound New Talent fyrsti geisladiskur Scotts međ hans eigin tónsmíđum; Found Music. Scott kennir á trommur viđ Tónsali í Kópavogi.
Ţorgrímur Jónsson kontrabassaleikari lauk burtfararprófi af jazzdeild FÍH voriđ 2001. Nćsta vetur stundađi hann klassískt nám á kontrabassa undir handleiđslu Gunnlaugs Stefánssonar í Tónskóla Sigursveins D. Kristinssonar en kenndi jafnframt viđ Tónlistarskóla Árbćjar. Hann fór til framhaldsnáms viđ Koninklijk Conservatorium í Haag í Hollandi og lauk B.M. prófi voriđ 2006. Međal kennara voru Hein Van Der Heyn, Frans Van Der Hoeven, Uli Glassmann og Roeloef Meijer. Ţorgrímur kennir viđ tónlistarskóla Árbćjar og tónlistarskóla Garđabćjar og hefur leikiđ međ helstu jazzleikurum Íslands á hinum ýmsu stöđum svo sem á Jómfrúnni, í Deiglunni á Akureyri, jazz- og blúshátíđinni í Vestmannaeyjum, á jazzklúbbnum Múlanum og á Jazzhátíđ Reykjavíkur. Einnig hefur hann leikiđ inn á plötur og unniđ viđ sjónvarp og útvarp.

Jazz pianist Sunna Gunnlaugs leads a trio with Scott McLemore on drums and Ţorgrímur Jónsson on acoustic bass. The trio performs Sunna’s compositions, old and new, which combine the elegance of the European approach with a more fiery American-sounding rhythm section, proving that jazz can have a wider appeal without losing integrity.
Sunna Gunnlaugs, jazz-pianist and composer, graduated in 1996 with B.M. in Jazz Studies from William Paterson College in New Jersey. She has performed in Japan, at Canada's major jazz festivals, in Europe and in the USA, meeting with critical acclaim in jazz publications where her music is said to combine "the elegance of the European approach with a more fiery American-sounding rhythm section ... [proving] that jazz can have a wider appeal without losing integrity." (All About Jazz). She has released four CDs with original compositions and her latest, Live in Europe, reached the top 10 on jazz radio charts in the US and the #2 spot in Canada. Sunna Gunnlaugs has been the recipient of an artist’s salary in Iceland on three occasions. She has also presented an annual series of jazz programs on the Icelandic National Broadcasting Service’s Channel 1 since 1998.
Scott McLemore, drummer and composer, a native of Virginia USA, graduated 1997 with B.M. in Jazz Studies from William Paterson College in New Jersey. He was active on the New York jazz scene for the next decade, performing with Sunna Gunnlaugs, Ben Monder, Michael Kanan, Tony Malaby, Angelica Sanchez, Chris Cheek, George Colligan, Mark Helias and Tim Berne, among others. McLemore has been living in Iceland since 2005 and has performed and/or recorded with the ‘crčme de la crčme’ of Icelandic jazz musicians. Morgunblađiđ commented that he was ‘a great catch for the Icelandic jazz scene. He is a terrific drummer’. His first CD as a band leader, entitled Found Music, featuring his own compositions performed by top New York jazz musicians, was recently released by Fresh Sound New Talent. Scott McLemore teaches drums and music theory at Tónsalir in Kópavogur.
Ţorgrímur Jónsson, double bass player, graduated from FÍH’s jazz department in Reykjavík in 2001. The following year he studied classical bass with Gunnlaugur Stefánsson at S.D.K. music school, as well as teaching at Árbćr Music school. Last spring he graduated with a B.M. degree from Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag, Netherlands. Among his teachers were Hein Van Der Heyn, Frans Van Der Hoeven, Uli Glassmann and Roeloef Meijer. Ţorgrímur Jónsson teaches at the music schools in Árbćr and Garđabćr. He is one of Iceland’s premier jazz bass players, performing and/or recording extensively all around the country.
