Margrét Árnadóttir fćddist í Reykjavík áriđ 1981. Hún lauk einleikaraprófi frá Tónlistarskólanum í Reykjavík áriđ 2000 undir handleiđslu Gunnars Kvaran sellóleikara.
Síđan ţá hefur hún stundađ framhaldsnám viđ The Juilliard School í New York. Ađalkennarar hennar hafa veriđ Harvey Shapiro og David Soyer. Hún lauk BM gráđu í vor frá Juilliard og fékk ţar einnig inngöngu til meistaranáms ţar sem hún verđur nćstu tvö árin.
Margrét hefur komiđ fram á einleiks- og kammertónleikum á Íslandi og Bandaríkjunum. Í fyrra hélt hún m.a. einleikstónleika í Salnum í Kópavogi ásamt Lin Hong píanóleikara. Fyrr í sumar fór hún ásamt Lin Hong í tónleikaferđ til Kína ţar sem ţeim var bođiđ ađ halda ţrenna tónleika, ţar á međal í Beijing Conservatory.
Undanfarin ár hefur Margrét tekiđ ţátt í fjölmörgum sumarnámskeiđum í Bandaríkjunum, ţar á međal Music Academy of the West í Kaliforníu, ţar sem hún hlaut The Gabor Rejto Fellowship verđlaunin. Hún hefur einnig leikiđ í masterklössum fyrir Janos Starker, Erling Blöndal Bengtsson, Steven Isserlis, Luis Claret og fleiri. Í fyrra var henni bođiđ ađ taka ţátt í 2003 Gregor Piatigorsky Seminar for Cellists og var einnig valin ţátttakandi í Ravinia Festival – Steans Institute for Young Artists ţar sem hún lćrđi m.a. hjá Franz Helmerson.
Lin Hong er fćddur í Kína og níu ára gamall var hann einn af sjö nemendum til ađ fá inngöngu í Shanghai Conservatory. Síđar fluttist hann til Bandaríkjanna og fékk styrki ţar til ađ nema píanóleik viđ UCLA í Kaliforníu hjá Johanna Harris og viđ University of South California, School of Music, hjá John Perry, en ţađan útskrifađist hann 1998. Frá The Juilliard School í New York útskrifađist hann svo međ Meistaragráđu, en kennarar hans ţar voru Margo Garrett, Marshall Williamson og Martin Canin.
Lin Hong hefur hlotiđ fjölda verđlauna fyrir píanóleik sinn og veriđ valinn sem einleikari međ hljómsveitum á ferđum ţeirra. Í New York hefur Lin Hong komiđ fram á einleiks- og kammertónleikum í Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Juilliard School, New York University og Columbia University. Auk ţess hefur hann leikiđ međ sellóleikaranum Hai Ye-Ni, ađstođarleiđara New York Philharmonic og voru tónleikarnir sendir út á National Public Radio. Áriđ 2001 var Lin bođiđ ađ starfa sem međleikari fyrir Gregor Piatigorsky Seminar for Cellists. Lin Hong starfar nú sem međleikari viđ The Juilliard School og er Minister of Music viđ United Church of Christ.

Margrét Árnadóttir was born in Reykjavík in 1981. She studied at Reykjavík College of Music with Gunnar Kvaran and graduated in 2000.
Since then she has been studying at The Juilliard School in New York. Her major teachers have been Harvey Shapiro and David Soyer. Last spring she received her BM degree from Juilliard and was also accepted there into the master's program where she will be studying for the next two years.
Ms. Árnadóttir has performed in solo recitals and chamber music concerts in USA and Iceland. Last year she gave a solo recital in Salurinn, Kópavogur with Lin Hong pianist. This summer they went on a concert tour to China where they were invited to give three concerts, including a recital in Beijing Conservatory.
Ms. Árnadóttir has participated in numerous summer festivals in the USA, such as Music Academy of the West, where she received the Gabor Rejto Fellowship Award. She has also performed in masterclasses for Janos Starker, Erling Blöndal Bengtsson, Steven Isserlis, Luis Claret and others. Last year Ms. Árnadóttir was selected as a participant at the 2003 Gregor Piatigorsky Seminar for Cellists and the Ravinia Festival – Steans Institute for Young Artists where she studied with Franz Helmerson.
Lin Hong was born in China. At the age of nine he was one of seven students in all of China to be accepted by the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Later he moved to the USA and received numerous scholarship awards for his piano studies at UCLA, where he studied with Johanna Harris, and at USC School of Music with John Perry where he graduated with honours in 1998. He received his Masters Degree from The Juilliard School, where he continued working with Margo Garrett, Marshall Williamson and Martin Canin.
Lin Hong has won numerous awards in international piano competitions and has been invited to perform as a soloist with orchestras on their concert tours. In New York, Lin Hong has given solo and chamber music recitals at Carnegie Recital Hall, Lincoln Center, The Juilliard School, New York University and Columbia University. His performance with famed cellist Hai Ye-Ni, was broadcast on the National Public Radio. In 2001 Mr. Lin was invited by the USC School of Music as a guest pianist for the Gregor Piatigorsky Seminar. Currently, Mr. Lin is a staff pianist at The Juilliard School and Minister of Music at United Church of Christ.
